Apollo Film established three foundations which help in realizing company strategy: Cracow Film Foundation, Cinema Development Foundation and Regional Cinema Foundation. Apollo Film and its foundations conduct two cinemas in Cracow: KIJÓW.CENTRUM and Mikro Cinema and one in Rzeszów (Zorza Cinema).
Cinema Development Foundation has been funded in 2006. The main priority of the Foundation is supporting development of the cinema market, dissemination of the knowledge of the cinema and promoting new technologies. Foundation pursues an intense activity educational and cultural.
It is under the patronage of this foundation we have founded Digital Cinemas Association. We provide digital cinema equipment for our members. What’s more we provide our help with obtaining new and attractive cinemas offers. Digital Cinemas Association is first such organization in Poland. By the end of this year we are going to install digital system in ten cinemas in Poland. Next year we are going to increase the range of association activity on the next twenty cinemas. Due to high quality digital equipment all members of association are technically suited to organize direct live event transmissions from all around the world. Actually we are also involved in the creation of the polish national plan of digitalization.
Foundation gathers young, open minded and creative people with varies skills and education from psychologist thru cultural experts to lawyers which share common interest and passion in fulfilling the Foundations purpose.

International Film Festival for Children GALICIA.
With this foundation we are organizing one of our youngest ideas but very quickly developing that is International Film Festival for Children GALICIA.
International Film Festival for Children GALICIA is young initiative and this year we are organizing its second edition. During the first festival we have had over 12 thousand viewers. Is proves that young audience is vividly interested in cinematography. During festival apart from film competition and screenings we provide children with a lot of additional attraction such as film costume party, meetings with stars, movie set, interactive computer games. Over 20 newest films for children participate in festival’s competition.
We are proud that International Film Festival For Children Galicia is becoming one of the most recognizable and the most prestige’s events for children in this part of Europe. During the Festival we are organizing competition for films which impact the family values, especially love, relationships between generations, respect for seniors in families, as well as support provided within the family. Beside we are screening 3D films during all Festival and organizing a great deal of other attractions.
Festival films are being shown in two cinemas in Cracow: Mikro and KIJÓW.CENTRUM, as well as in movie theatres in others larger cities in South Poland for instant: Nowy Sącz, Tarnów, Rzeszów.
Our Festival is rich in associating events such as the film costume ball for the youngest, film set which is built in front of the festival’s cinema as well as meetings with actors and artists followed by special performances which connect screenings and theatre shows. We are also very proud that we are cooperating with the largest and the most spectacular Film Festival for Children in the world Giffoni Film Festival “Giffoni Experience”.

Cracow Film Foundation is the main organizer of Cracow Film Festival existing from 1961. The Foundation was officially registered on the July 3rd, 2003 and started its activity in December 2003.
It was established in order to increase the possibilities on different fields related to film: besides the Cracow Film Festival, the Foundation also organizes other film events. The main goals of the Foundation are popularization of the film and culture, film education, promotion of high quality films both in Poland and abroad, assisting in the professional and artistic development of filmmakers and the support of the artistically ambitious film projects. We are also deeply convinced that our practice in organizing one of the oldest and most renowned festivals dedicated to documentaries, shorts and animations allows us to carry out the project in the best possible way, leading to a large number of interesting agreements and transactions, especially in regard to our long-term co-operation with industry organizations, directors and producers in addition to our in-depth knowledge of the short and documentary film environment.

Cracow Film Festival is one of the oldest film event dedicated to documentary, animated and short fiction films in Europe. During 7 festival days viewers have an opportunity to watch about 250 films from Poland and abroad. Films are presented in competitions and in special sections like retrospectives, thematic cycles, archive screenings. Festival is accompanied by exhibitions, concerts, open air screenings and meetings with the filmmakers. Every year Cracow Film Festival hosts about 500 Polish and international guests: directors, producers, film festival programmers and numerous audience from Cracow.
The fact that the Cracow Film Festival has been officially recognized by FIAPF, the European Film Academy and the AMPAS only confirms its reputation and high esteem it’s field in; consequently, the films awarded in Cracow are automatically eligible for the European Film Awards and the Oscars in the short films categories.
